In the 19th Governing Council meeting of Rose Convention held in Australia, former president of Madhya Pradesh Rose Society, Mr. Sushil Prakash was elected as the treasurer for the next three years of World Federation of Rose Societies (WFRS). Hearty congratulations to him. It is a matter of happiness and pride for the whole of India that for the first time an Indian rose lover has held the executive position of the World Federation of Rose Societies. Also, the proposal given from our side for the World Rose Convention of 2028 was given after a delay of six months, yet it was debated and finally it was decided that the convention to be held in 2028. The proposal submission date has been extended till next year and the decision regarding this will also be taken next year. With this, our possibilities for the World Rose Convention to be held in 2028 has become even stronger. This has definitely been possible due to the tireless efforts of Mr. Sushil Prakash.
