DDC Devansh Emphasizes Sustainable Development of Agriculture and Horticulture

District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting was held by Dr Devansh Yadav, District Development Commissioner (DDC).

The district’s CD ratio, who the beneficiaries are, credit flow, assistance from government-sponsored programs, bank performance under the District Credit Plan (DCP), accomplishments during the aforementioned quarter, monitoring initiatives, and Credit Plus activities were all the subject of in-depth discussions at the meeting.

The DC emphasized lending to priority sectors, particularly education, women’s development, and agriculture-related industries. He also emphasized the importance of the agriculture and horticulture industries in the district’s creation of self-sufficient and employment that is sustainable.

DC, also launched a Potential linked credit plan prepared by NABARD envisaging a credit potential of ₹324.22 crore for FY 2023-24 under priority sector for the district, during the meeting. The meeting also included a presentation of the Annual Action Plan, which was developed with input from various District departments.

ADDC Sham Lal, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, GM DIC Mohd Ashraf, Kishtwar Lead District Manager, DSWO Kishtwar Zubair Ahmed, AD Employment Amit Kumar, CAHO Kishtwar, LDO RBI, DDM NABARD, Director RSETI Kishtwar, representatives of various banks, District Coordinators, and additional heads of various Government Departments and sponsoring agencies were present at the meeting.
