Donald Trump discards climate change as global concern
Washington: Former US President Donald Trump has refused to accept climate change as a global concern. He said it is useless to talk about rising sea levels. He further added that the ocean is going to go down 100th of an inch within the next 400 years and claimed that it is not a global threatening issue.
Trump went on to say that ‘nuclear warming is a big concern’ and we should have smart people at the top who can deal with the situation easily. Trump doesn’t believe in the scientific consensus on global warming. He blamed the burning of fossil fuels is responsible for this.
He always showed doubt on climate change throughout his political career; he sometimes refers to it as a ‘hoax’. It is believed that if Trump triumphs in the forthcoming US presidential elections, then he may dismantle current President Joe Biden’s several ‘clear energy rules’.
