Apply for These Free Courses of Horticulture by Sept 11

New Delhi: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the Horticulture Department of Haryana has started short-term courses at Horticulture Training Institute, Uchani, Karnal. Application for the courses have been opened for the interested candidates.
Availability of Courses
The course of Mushroom Grower Level Four with duration of 390 hours has total of 19 seats. Only matriculate candidates are eligible for the application. Another course of Group Farming Practitioner with duration of 200 hours has also invited for 20 seats. The eligibility criteria for this course is 12th pass. All the courses are free of cost.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be minimum of 18 years of age and maximum of 30 years. He/she should be permanent resident of Haryana. The admission will be taken on the basis of merit marks of class X and XII.

Interested candidates can apply for the courses through the website of the Horticulture Department, Haryana https://kaushal.hortharyana.gov.in/
Last date of application
Applications have to be submitted latest by 11 am on September 11.
Counselling Procedure
Counselling will be held on September 12 at 11 am at institute of Karnal. The candidates must bring their original documents (matriculation certificate, class 12 certificate, Aadhaar card, family identity card) and two passport size photographs.
Benefits and Certification
Students who will pass the course examination would be issued a certificate by the Agricultural Skills Council of India. IELTS coaching will also be given to the candidates free of cost along with the above mentioned courses. Food arrangements and accommodation will also be free.
