Greater Noida to host vibrant flower festival from Feb 28

Noida: Greater Noida has been gearing up to host a three-day vibrant flower show at Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park (City Park) from February 28 to March 2. The event is expected to come alive with the bursts of colours and different fragrances. Therefore, the city is set to bloom with a variety of flowers and eye-catching plants. Besides this, visitors will get a wonderful opportunity to purchase exclusive flowering plants, including some of the rare varieties that are usually not available in nurseries.

The festival is likely to display different varieties of flowers, where the main focus would be on marigolds. Several other flowers, such as Alyssum, Anthurium, Calendula, Cineraria, Gazania, and Salvia, will also be showcased during the event.

Organizers are set to organize numerous programmes but the major attraction will be a fashion show where children are expected to walk the ramp in their dresses, which would be made from fruits and vegetables. Other activities such as flower sculptures, themed gardens, and gardening workshops will also take place.

Special Duty Officer of Greater Noida Authority Abhishek Pathak shared that the festival will also host several competitions, expecting over 100 participants.

The festival promises to be a charming experience for nature lovers and gardening enthusiasts, aiming to raise awareness among people about horticulture and floriculture. Visitors can spend some valuable time with their families in a natural environment, which is rarely found in urban life.
