Save The Soil: Sadhguru in World Economic Forum
In a discussion during the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Sadhguru, the founder of Isha Foundation, appealed to ‘save the soil’. Sadhguru said that rich soil is the basis of a prosperous life for us. Healthy soil and healthy life are inextricably linked. He stressed re-nourishing the fertile potential of the soil so that farmers can get good income by continuously growing better crops, which will lead to food security as well as the transfer of people from rural areas to cities. There will be a reduction in migration.
Sadhguru also said that builders should consider decongesting cities and for this, they should move to places where land is available in abundance. He said that such places should be developed for people to live in.
On a long journey to save the soil, Sadhguru put forward his idea of ‘One Building City’ to use the degraded land once again.
