Three days Vasantotsav festival starts at Raj Bhavan, Dehradun
New Delhi: The Raj Bhavan in Dehradun is blooming with vibrant colors and fragrant flowers as it plays host to the annual ‘Vasantotsav’ or we can say Spring Festival. The event has been organized by the Horticulture Department of Uttarakhand. It Is three day event, it has started from 1st of March 2024 and it will end on 3rd of March 2024. Aims to showcase the rich floral diversity of the region and promote horticulture as a means of sustainable livelihood.
The festival, which kicked off on March 1st, features a stunning display of flowers, including roses, orchids, lilies, and marigolds. The highlight of the event is the flower show, where participants from across the state compete in various categories such as flower arrangements, bonsai, and potted plants.
