A guide on How to Prepare Seedballs by Mr. Mahesh Mishra, an Environmental Enthusiast
Monsoon is the best time to plant trees. We all try a lot. But sometimes the seeds are eaten by animals and birds. Sometimes in strong winds or in heavy rain, those seeds get washed away. Due to that our plantation efforts are not successful. To make plantation a success an innovative idea in relation to this is Seedball. Through seedball we can make our effort successful so that we can plant huge amounts of trees.
Materials Required:
- -Soil
- -Vermi-Compost
- -Seeds
- -Water
Preparation:
Step I: Combine soil & vermin compost and mix some water in it. You don’t have to add too much water, just moisten the mixture. Just add that much water when the mixture is fit to make laddo-like structure.
Step II: Prepare laddoos by placing seeds in the middle of the mixture. Add 2-3 seeds in one laddoo. You can take any seed you want like neem, sheesham, gulmohar etc. This laddu has soil as well as vermicompost, so it is a nutritious laddo in itself.
Step III: Dry them in shade. Make sure to keep them away from sunlight. Sow them anywhere you want. Your Nature laddo is ready to grow.
