Bareilly: The Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) organized a three-day vibrant flower show from March 7 to March 9, 2025, under the guidance of Dr. Manikandan. The event aimed to promote floriculture and landscaping in India. The event featured a beautifully decorated Ramayana Garden, showcasing unique attractions such as Shivling, Ram Temple, Ram Setu, and a Miyawaki forest. The garden, adorned with colorful flowers and stunning lights, presented a mesmerizing view—fragrant during the day and glowing with lights at night.The Flower Show displayed thousands of flower varieties, including roses, marigolds, tulips, Dianthus, Petunia, and Pansy. Flowers from South India and the Netherlands especially caught visitors’ attention. The garden artistically depicted various episodes from Lord Ram’s exile, offering a spiritual and natural experience for visitors.The event showcased the scope of floriculture and the landscape industry in India, inspiring gardening enthusiasts and professionals alike. The design of the show was led by Sachin Brahmankar, a landscape consultant from Alpha Agro and Landscape Services, Nashik. The flower show was executed by Dharti Farm and Nursery, Ahmedabad. According to BDA Secretary Yogendra Kumar, the 30,000 square meter garden was designed to highlight Lord Ram’s exile journey. Special arrangements were made to enhance its natural beauty with lighting and landscaping. The goal was to make it the most magnificent flower show in Uttar Pradesh.

BDA Executive Engineer A.P.N. Singh shared that every corner of the garden was decorated to recreate scenes from the Ramayana. The event featured over 50,000 floral sculptures, 1,600 Miyawaki plants, and a replica of Baba Kedarnath Temple. Shivling, Nandi Baba, Jatayu, and Hanuman Ji were also beautifully crafted with flowers. Quality planting materials were supplied by B.K. Pawar of RamVatika Agritech LLP, Pune, and Mukesh Bansal of Balaji Beej Bhandar, New Delhi. Their contributions played a key role in making the event a grand success.Visitors, including school children and tourists, enjoyed taking selfies with 3D paintings depicting Lord Ram’s life events. This spectacular flower show became an unforgettable experience for devotees and nature lovers.The BDA flower show proved to be an inspiring platform for promoting horticulture, creativity, and environmental awareness across the country.
