Brothers Break Away from Urban Life, Embrace Farming Roots in Bhodani Village

New Delhi: Satyajit Hange and Ajinkya Hange, born in Bhodani and raised in Pune, have chosen to reconnect with their farming roots, a stark departure from their urban upbringing. Growing up the brothers studied in a boarding school in Pune where they spent most of their time away from the agrarian lifestyle of their family farm in Bhodani village located in the Indapur taluka approximately 150 km away from Pune.

Their father a dedicated farmer, worked tirelessly in Bhodani to provide for their education and future. Despite their familial ties to agriculture Satyajit and Ajinkya were kept away from farming activities during their childhood. Their summers spent in Bhodani were not just vacations they were foundational experiences that would later shape their career paths.

After completing their education, both brothers pursued careers in the corporate world with Satyajit working in a multinational company and Ajinkya in the banking sector. In a bold move Satyajit and Ajinkya decided to leave behind their urban lifestyles and return to Bhodani to take up farming.
