Buxar: Social media buzzes as locals steal flower pots after CM’s event
Buxar: Social media is buzzing with a bizarre video showing several women and children have stolen flower pots placed outside the Circuit House in Buxar for the CM Nitish Kumar’s welcome. Nitish was visiting the district as part of his ‘Pragati Yatra.’ During his visit, he unveiled numerous projects for the welfare of the people of the city and its surrounding areas.
The district administration arranged several flower pots to decorate the place and keep the atmosphere fresh. However, after the end of the programme, the CM left the stage. Everything was under control. But locals without wasting any time reached there and looted hundreds of gumlas before any reaction by the Bihar government’s employee. Officials went on to say that these pots were hired from a local nursery with the help of the municipal council.

This incident was a shameful act. The state is known for producing IAS, IPS, and IITians in bulk. Despite progress in education, still a huge number of people don’t have the manners to behave or deal with the situation. Announcements of freebies by different state governments have made the situation very poor. People think that it is not wrong to take away the government’s property. However, they have lost their morality.
Nitish had to face the wrath of the people in Buxar because women living in slum areas staged a protest over the Bihar CM for demanding votes instead of development works. Then the local administration had to intervene and remove the protesters. Remember! The state assembly is to be held this year in Bihar.
