Delhi will Shine at the G-20 Summit: Landscape, Hardscape, Softscape, and Streetscape Work in Progress
Preparations for the G-20 summit are in full swing in the capital, Delhi, where roads are being beautified, while road furniture and floral decorative landscape are being given special attention ahead of the meeting in September. The road coming from the international airport to Dhaula Kuan has been landscaped with special sculptures. Mr. YP Singh, president of the Indian Nurserymen Association, explains the work done during the Commonwealth Games on the occasion of G-20 this year as the work is being done in the next phase, experts related to the nursery industry said that flowers are being planted from many states of the country. Special attention is being paid to landscaping, hardscaping, softscaping, streetscaping on many roads.
Mr. Mukesh Sharma, Joint Secretary of INA and an expert in landscaping, hardscaping, softscaping, streetscaping, says that today there are special designers in all these fields in India. World-class consultants have also been added for the same. Mr. Mukesh Sharma said that generally greenery was considered as decoration, but this time comprehensive designing is being done from signage to elaborate street furniture and street scaping. This happens in selected countries of the world. And now it will be seen in India too
