Dutch Horticultural Trade Mission to India
From November 15 to 20, Dutch green exchange mission to India is going to happen. This is the first joint activity of PPP (Public Private Partnership) PIB NLHortiRoad2India, for which the agreement was endorsed in October in Ahoy, Rotterdam. The PIB plans to situate the Dutch green area as an accomplice for India to satisfy India’s rising need for new, safe, and nutritious foods.
The exchange mission is started and coordinated by Dutch Nursery Delta (DGD), Innovation Quarter, Rotterdam Accomplices, and the Dutch Consulate in New Delhi, India.
Program of the trade mission
For this trade exchange mission a program has been compiled. The delegation will participate in the Bangalore Tech Summit, it will visit the University of Agriculture in Karnataka, a practical Training Center, and different greenhouse/nursery projects. Knowledge sessions, in-depth matchmaking sessions, and a network reception hosted by the Consul General are the part of the designed program. Also, there will be meet with investors, project developers, retailers and hospitality sector in this 5 day program.
The following organizations are participating in this exchange mission: Bayer- de Ruiter Seeds, Hoogendoorn Growth Management, Horti XS, Lumiforte, Koppert, Meteor Systems, Priva, van der Hoeven Horticultural Projects, and Viscon.
Their aim is to co-create future-proof food systems in India and beyond.
