Eco Sikh aims to plant 10 million trees by 2030
New Delhi: Eco Sikh, a global organization dedicated to environmental protection, celebrated its 15th anniversary at India Habitat Center, New Delhi. Noted environmentalists and prominent figures participated in the event and discussed the plantation of trees to keep the environment green.
Eco Sikh had successfully planted 5,70,000 trees across 1,032 forests. Eco Sikh Global President Dr. Rajwant Singh unveiled that the organization is set to plant 10 million trees by 2030. He was satisfied with the progress made in the past 15 years, stressing that it is important to make people aware of how to keep the planet meaningful so that it can support life easily.
“This journey of collective efforts to save the earth has been incredible. It has shown that spiritual values drive people to contribute positively to the environment,” said Dr. Singh. He called for global communities to join hands in the mission to create a greener, healthier planet.

Environmentalist Baba Sewa Singh highlighted the deep connection between Sikhism and environmental stewardship, particularly through tree planting. He praised Eco Sikh’s vision, which encourages Sikhs and all of humanity to participate in this crucial cause.
Dr. Supreet Kaur, President of Eco Sikh India, expressed special thanks to his volunteers, activists, and partners who made this mission successful. “This journey has been fulfilling for everyone involved. Without the unwavering support of our partners, we wouldn’t have achieved this milestone,” she said.
Eco Sikh has been playing a vital role in reforestation and biodiversity conservation. The organization has made all possible efforts to plant more and more trees in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, and Jammu & Kashmir. It has planted above 5,02,700 trees in 914 forests till March 2024.
