Afterward, farmers need to apply hormones like auxin or gibberellin to the cut area, which will renew the tree and bring fruit again. Additionally, it is advisable to apply lime near the plant’s roots, as this will provide essential nutrients to the litchi trees.
In fact, never forget to water the litchi trees regularly and provide them with a balanced supply of nutrients. This method will make the tree healthy, enabling them to produce fruit again. Dr. Dhiru explained that even older trees that have stopped bearing fruit can start producing again after applying these techniques.
He has also shared a video and urged litchi growers to watch it carefully to improve their gardening skills and boost litchi production. For those farmers whose litchi trees have stopped bearing fruit, this information is a boon for them.
