Here are some pro tips to prevent you from making any kind of mistake and contribute to healthier growth of your plant.

Watering: Avoid over watering. Over watering rots the roots of the plant and hence it dies. To anticipate the requirement of water for any plant, you can look at the soil. If it’s dry, good watering is required; if it’s lightly moist, little watering is needed. It is not necessary to water house plants every day.

Also, Water the plants on right time, either early morning or evening. Watering during midday may kill the plant as water evaporates from the soil and the plants get scorched.

Pruning: Remove the dry leaves and hoe the top soil, if you see the plant has started to dry completely. Avoid using liquid fertilizers, adding cow dung manure proves to be the best option for revival of drying plants.

Prevent excessive humidity: The soil around the plant should still be reasonably moist, but you may not be watering it enough. When the plant’s soil is not self-draining, this occurs. You can also lower the humidity by making holes in the pot, adding some sand to the soil, using coco peat, placing some stones in the pot, etc.

Repotting: You can revive your drying plant by transporting it to a bigger pot so that its roots can spread. Add materials to the soil to allow it to drain properly. Mix either cow dung or compost with the soil to give more nutrition to the roots.
