Four Horticulture Estates will be Set Up in Punjab
Punjab government will set up agriculture homes in four areas of the state, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Faridkot and Ludhiana; these domains will be outfitted with the most recent mechanical data/information and hardware/machinery for providing facilities to the horticulturists, accordingly helping them in creating excellent foods grown from the ground the expense of natural product creation.
During the following 5 years, by bringing 1.5 lakh hectares under agriculture crops, ₹39,772 crore will be added to Punjab’s Gross domestic product.
It was advised to bring most extreme region under cultivation crops by propelling farmers to emerge from the ongoing wheat-paddy crop cycle.
Awareness would be created to save the groundwater which is going down day by day in Punjab. The best-performing officials will be honoured at the state level.
