Gandhi Jayanti celebrates nationwide with admiration and events
New Delhi: This year once again, Gandhi Jayanti will be celebrated across India on October 2 to commemorate the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a pivotal figure in India’s struggle for independence. This day is observed as a national holiday, and the day is dedicated to honouring Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas of non-violence, truth, and civil disobedience, which played a crucial role in shaping India’s independence.
