Greater Noida gears up to host flower festival

Noida: Greater Noida is all set to bloom again with the charming fragrance of flowers in February 2025. The upcoming flower show is scheduled to take place on February 21, 22, and 23, next year, at the Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park, also known as City Park, expecting 500 varieties of flowers to be displayed during the festival, promising to enhance the beauty of the spring season with exciting colours and attractive aromas of flowers.

A wide range of flowers is likely to be showcased in the flower festival, including roses, tuberose, hibiscus, jasmine, marigold, sunflower, lotus, and more. Some striking varieties like Brahma Kamal, night-blooming jasmine, and Nag Champa will also be displayed. Visitors will get a chance to buy their favourite flower plants from the event. Nature lovers can see rare flowers that are usually not found at nurseries.

The horticulture department has started its preparation for the festival so that they can organize this event successfully, aiming to attract a huge number of visitors and end the programme with vibrant businesses. The preparation is in full swing for the forthcoming festival. The organizers have invited experts, organizations, societies, and residents to give their ideas regarding holding the event effectively.

Besides the flower festival, by the side of the event, cultural programmes, garden competitions, painting for children, and so on will also take place during the event. However, the main focus will remain on the promotion of the floriculture sector.
