Healthy environment: Grow some famous plants to entice birds
Lucknow: The combination of birds and trees makes the garden more vibrant. Without the chirp of birds, orchards always look deserted. However, several plants around us entice birds through their flowers, fruits, and fragrance. These plants should be planted to invite birds to come in the garden and make it noisy with their beautiful chirpy tone. They play a key role in keeping the ecosystem balanced and lively.
Here are the names of some plants that can keep a garden a favourite place for birds:
Neelam (Blue Sage)—The bright and colourful flowers of this plant always attract birds and honeybees. Its sweet fragrance entices birds to come and enjoy. The plant should be in the garden to invite them so that they can occupy their spot.

Amla (Indian Gooseberry)—Amla is famous all over the world for its health benefits, but it provides food for birds, especially in winter. The small, nutritious fruits provide energy to birds and keep them active throughout the day.
Tulsi (Holy Basil)—This plant is known for its religious significance; its tiny flowers entice birds. Numerous birds, like the bulbul, cuckoo, and sparrow, are often spotted near Tulsi plants.
Kachnar (Bauhinia)—Birds are attracted to the pink or purple flowers of this plant, while its seeds become an important food source for them.
Rose—Rose is known for not producing seeds. However, their bright colours and sweet fragrance fascinate birds; rose gardens are a big source for increasing birds’ population in the garden.
One should try to plant such bird-friendly plants, giving them a chance to flourish while making our surroundings healthier and greener as well.
