Mahendragarh: Haryana’s Mahendragarh District Horticulture Department organized camps on Saturday (January 18) in several villages such as Girdharpur, Silarpur, Budin, Raghunathpura, Surehti Jakhal, Kapuri, and Garhi Ruthal. The event was held as part of the horticulture awareness programme. A huge number of farmers and people from other backgrounds took part and listened to the experts carefully. Officials urged the people about the state government’s scheme for the promotion of the horticulture sector.

Dr. Sanwalmal Choudhary, Horticulture Development Officer, shared detailed information about government schemes running at the moment, aiming to support farmers. Farmers from the general category can get a 50% subsidy of Rs 31,250 per acre, while Scheduled Caste farmers are eligible for an 85% subsidy of Rs 53,125 per acre.
