New Delhi: In a joyous gesture, the Indian Nurserymen Association has joined forces with EDM Mall, Anand Vihar, to celebrate Daughter’s Day. The special day event was celebrated with gaiety on September 21 and 22, 2024, aiming to promote daughters and their well-being. National Daughter’s Day, observed on the fourth Sunday of September, is dedicated to honouring the precious contributions of daughters to families and society.
The Indian Nurserymen Association (INA) is a well-known organization in the nursery industry across the country. It has successfully completed its 33rd anniversary. INA has grown into a national presence with over 3,600 members and is the only non-profit organization working relentlessly in improving and modernizing the nursery business in the country.
The strength of INA comes from its members. INA has been growing and flourishing, attracting others to join the association. The Indian Nurserymen Association (INA) is an organization that has been representing the entire horticulture industry, including the landscape and forest industry, including plant breeders, greenhouses, and nursery growers, retailers, distributors, interior and exterior landscapers, florists, students, educators, researchers, manufacturers, and all other stakeholders.
The collaboration between the Indian Nurserymen Association and EDM Mall aims to strengthen family bonds and foster community engagement. The two-day event revealed the importance of daughters in our society. During the event, families enjoyed a variety of activities, including a plantation drive, rangoli making, clay crafting, and canvas painting. These activities offer an exciting and interactive experience for all attendees, creating a joyful atmosphere around the theme of daughterhood.
INA is the leading national association for the green industry in India and works tirelessly to connect the industry across states and other segments, giving ample opportunities that expand its member’s network, connectivity, and resources. Answers to your biggest challenges related to the horticulture field, forest nurseries, and landscaping, both horizontal and vertical, can be found within the INA network of businesses.
From the start, INA has focused on bringing together the entire plant nursery production chain and related markets. It continues to uphold this mission by uniting industry professionals to support the growth and success of its members in the nursery business.
This year’s celebration seeks to challenge traditional stereotypes, where sons are given preference in comparison to daughters and considered primary heirs. The event highlighted daughters as equal and significant members of society like sons.
