INA organise Annual General Meeting and Seminar 2023

Indian Nurserymen Association (INA) held its annual general meeting on December 24 at Vatika Nursery in Shahjahanpur of Uttar Pradesh. The nurserymen from UP, Maharastra, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Delhi etc attended the meeting. On the occasion, three senior persons were honoured, of them two were from Shahjahanpur and one from Kithaur.
The meeting was conducted under the leadership of its President YP Singh and General Secretary Mukul Tyagi. Seminar managed by Galib Khan, Rafiq Khan and Alam Khan. On the occasion, YP Singh highlighted the importance of herbs and shrubs and said that the reduce the impact of global warming and environmental pollution we need to focus on more plantation. Herbs and shrubs make our environment pure and the leafs stops the ultraviolet rays emanating from sun in reaching to us.
YP Singh said: “The meeting was primarily held to create awareness among the mass about the plantation and we have decided to work on it continuously.”“We have also agreed to bring more people who are associated with nursery business.”He also emphasised to promote nursery system through scientific method across the country. The President said his association will work in tandem with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making self-reliant India.
General Secretary Mukul Kumar Tyagi said that since its inception INA has been working for the betterment of people who are engaged in nursery business. Bringing more people into INA and helping them have been one of the main facet of our objectives. “We have also been working efficiently in making it more job oriented and use of technologies,” he said. In this meeting.
INA Governing Council member Mehar Alam highlighted about the history of nursery. Former INA President Ajayvansh Tyagi and others also spoke in the meeting. Availability of Oxygen has been a major challenge due to deforestation, the INA members have agreed to plant more trees. “We have to inspire and motivate everyone to plant more trees.”
