Lalbagh Flower Show: A floral tribute to Ramayana
Bengaluru: The vibrant Lalbagh Flower Show at the Lalbagh Botanical Garden got underway on Thursday (January 16). The much-awaited floral exhibition has been featured with dazzling floral showcases, paying tribute to the Ramayana and Valmiki’s legacy. The visitors will get a chance to see some remarkable varieties of flowers and plants. A huge number of people, not only from the city but also from the neighbouring states, is expected to turn up to see the marvelous exhibition of flowers.
The show has been taking place in Bengaluru since 1951. This year, visitors will marvel at intricate floral designs made with 25 lakh flowers, including 10 lakh flowers dedicated to the central theme. The iconic glasshouse will showcase 85 varieties of annual flowers and 27 varieties of temperate flowers, making it a visual feast for nature lovers.

The Lalbagh Flower Show will give an opportunity to the nature lovers to enjoy various species of flowers and plants. Additionally, awareness among people will increase regarding the importance of horticulture and floriculture. The organizers have made a good arrangement for the visitors so that they can’t face any difficulties and everything passes smoothly.
Tickets for the show are nominal; it is Rs 80 for adults on weekdays and 100 on weekends. Children need to pay just Rs 30. Therefore, all sections of people can afford the ticket easily and enjoy the extravagant flower show.
