Lok Sansad: A Path to Nation Building
INA always tries its best to contribute to the nation in every way possible. On Friday, 8th April 2022 INA’s president Shri Y.P Singh and Shri Rajeev Suri, Director PR attended the Lok Sansad organized at NDMC Auditorium (near Jantar Mantar) under the guidance and mentorship of K.N Govindacharya, a strong thinker and social activist.
It was inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble Governor of Kerala Arif Mohammad Khan ji, Swami Chidanand Muni ji, Paramadhyaksha Parmarth Niketan, Haridwar and Waterman Rajendra Singh ji. Other prominent personalities were Dinesh Dubey, Political Adviser US Embassy (Convener), Ravi Shankar Tiwari, Senior Journalist (Executive Coordinator), Pawan Srivastava, Social Worker (Co-Convener), Prof. P.N Mishra, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (Co-Convener), Dr. Gayatri Dixit, Asst. prof. (J.N.U).
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also present there. He focused on education and said that “In our country, there is talk of the highest standard of education in educational institutions, but what should be the minimum level of schools and colleges is never discussed. Every educational institution should ensure that the standard of their students will not go below this.”
Religious-spiritual figures, socio-political thinkers and political personalities from across the country were there to participate in the day-long event. The flaming questions that were raised were:
- Constitutional Institutions and their People’s Orientation
- Human Centered Development Vs Nature Centered Development
- Environment and Climate Protection
- Health and Education
- Inclusive economy
- Marketism and Corruption
- Rural self-reliance
- Elections and party politics
- Women Empowerment
- Aatmnirbhar Bharat (self reliant India)
Together we all will assess, according to the nature of the country where we and our country stand now, after 75 years of independence. After the dialogue, an action plan was prepared for the steps to be taken for further development for the next 25 years. This vision aims to view India as a developed nation after the journey of 100 years.
