Mumbai Flower Festival gears up to display India’s national symbols
Mumbai: The 28th edition of the Mumbai Flower Festival is set to take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025. The venue of this vibrant show is Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Garden and Zoo in Byculla. The main focus in this year’s show will be the showcase of India’s national symbols created from flowers. It will give an opportunity for the visitors to entertain and get some education as well.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made it clear the event will highlight national symbols like the Ashoka Chakra, the national flag, the tiger (national animal), the lotus (national flower), the mango (national fruit), and the peacock (national bird) with the help of remarkable handicrafts work of flowers.

BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, Additional Commissioner Dr. Amit Saini, Deputy Commissioner of Gardens Chanda Jadhav, and others have been working relentlessly for the successful organization of the event so that people can enjoy the flourishing flower festival without any heckle. Besides this, the festival is likely to enhance the knowledge of visitors as well.
In this three-day event, different varieties of flowers and plants will be displayed in one location. Visitors will get a chance to enjoy various colorful blooms, fruit-bearing plants, and medicinal herbs. These have been maintained carefully by the BMC’s Garden Department.
