NMC hosts ‘Pushpotsav 2025’ at Rajiv Gandhi Garden

Nagpur: The much awaited ‘Pushpotsav 2025’ was inaugurated by Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Chaudhari on January 25 at Rajiv Gandhi Garden, Trimurti Nagar. On this occasion, top brass of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials and other dignitaries were present. During the inauguration, Dr. Chaudhary interacted with citizens, listened to their concerns, and discussed the significance of greenery in urban areas. How to spread it so that we can keep our environment pollution-free.

The ongoing flower festival has been progressing in 15 gardens of the city, and it will continue till February 2. In this vibrant floral festival, displaying over 100 seasonal and perennial flower varieties, including chrysanthemum, marigold, petunia, dianthus, dahlia, rose, gerbera, calendula, zinnia, and many more. Several medicinal and ornamental plants have also been showcased for the visitors. It is a wonderful time for the people of the city to come and spend some valuable time with friends and families in a natural environment.

The festival has been taking place at prominent places like Surve Layout Garden, Shankar Nagar Garden, Traffic Park, Mahatma Gandhi Garden, Lata Mangeshkar Garden, and more. NMC has been organizing this event for the second consecutive year. The festival seems to bring awareness among the people towards the value of greenery, inspiring citizens to know and understand the significance of nature.
