London: The Tulip Festival got underway at the historic Hampton Court Palace, where over 100,000 tulip bulbs have burst into bloom, marking the start of the annual Tulip Festival. This festival is filled with colours, showcasing the UK’s largest tulip garden, spreading more than 240,000 square meters. This palace ground was the residence of King Henry VIII. The vibrant fest has displayed different varieties of tulips in all shapes and colours have further increased the beauty.
The important thing is that every single bulb was planted by hand, displaying the rich tradition of the palace’s garden. Head gardener Graham Dillamore shared his excitement about this year’s display. “Our award-winning tulips have erupted into colourful displays across the grounds and garden,” he said. “Each bulb was individually selected and planted to highlight the beauty and heritage of our gardens.”
