Pollution affects pregnant women and newborns more than others
Dehradun: Pollution has been deeply affecting our health. However, pregnant women and children are badly affected due to increasing pollution levels. Even though we have made a lot of development in the field of technology, but our environment is not green enough to provide fresh air to the people. That is why different kinds of diseases are taking place.
The number of vehicles and factories is increasing day by day, so toxic smoke from vehicles, harmful chemicals from factories, and rapid construction work have filled the air we breathe with poison. The effect of these harmful elements is not limited, and it has been increasing and affecting our entire generation.
Renowned cardiologist Dr Jagdish Rawat of Dehradun said that toxic air affecting our lungs. Pollution affects not only pregnant women and newborns but also the elderly and people suffering from respiratory problems. Even if someone does not have any problem, he will definitely show allergy symptoms. But pregnant women and newborns should remain very careful.

Dr. Rawat went on to say that even a healthy person becomes a victim of air pollution. Problems like irritation in the eyes, skin diseases, colds, and swelling in the respiratory tract arise. All these problems occur due to the persistent surge in air pollution.
We take in polluted air through the mouth or nose, which reaches our lungs. Initially, the problem of allergy occurs from our nose or mouth; symptoms such as running nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, cough, and hearing a whistling sound at night and asthma are the main symptoms.
