Rahul Gandhi slams Kejriwal over Delhi’s worsening air quality in first rally

New Delhi: The Delhi Assembly election is set to take place on February 5, and the result would be declared on February 8. However, the polling fever has been gripping in the national capital, and wars of words among the leaders are taking place. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday attacked former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over rising pollution levels and worsening air quality of the city.

Rahul, while addressing a public rally in Seelampur, said, as per Kejriwal, he would clean Delhi and make it Paris. What actually happened is that it is difficult to move around Delhi due to deteriorating air quality. He went on to say that pollution, corruption, and inflation are rising in Delhi.

The AAP chief reverted Rahul’s attack and said while Gandhi was fighting to save the Congress, “my fight is to save the country.” “Today, Rahul Gandhi came to Delhi. He abused me a lot. But I will not comment on his statements,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in Hindi.

The Congress party has been highlighting the achievements made during the 15-year Sheila Dikshit government. Neither (Arvind) Kejriwal nor the BJP can do what the Congress had done,” Gandhi said.

The Delhi Congress has unveiled a 12-point “white paper” to counter the AAP and BJP for negligence in solving the pollution levels in Delhi and making it a gas chamber.
