Seminar organized on the topic ‘Our Land – Our Future’

New Delhi. On the evening of 5th June 2024, at 4:00 PM, amidst the distinguished presence of guests at the Malaviya Smriti Bhavan, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi, a meaningful discussion was held on burning topics like ‘Our Earth – Our Future’ on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’. The most pressing and serious issue of our time is the environment and its associated repercussions. Governments worldwide, as well as global organizations, are striving to address this issue through various initiatives.

However, these efforts can only be successful when the general public is made aware and involved. In this endeavor, several organizations in the country are making concerted efforts. Indian Nurserymen Association has emerged prominently in this direction, playing a pivotal role. All guests shared their valuable thoughts on the most serious issue of the present time. Chief Guest Sudhir Agrawal (Judicial Member, National Green Tribunal) eloquently explained various solutions to crises related to water and land, and their simple resolutions.

Meanwhile, Surendra Singh (Secretary, Lieutenant Governor’s Office, Delhi) shed light on government efforts and how its ease of accessibility can mitigate these adversities in cities like Delhi, while also praising the Indian Nurserymen Association.

Indian Nurserymen Association’s General Secretary Mukul Tyagi delivered a formal lecture on how better efforts in horticulture can secure land and future. Finally, Shri Anupam (Zonal Organizing Secretary, Indian Labor Union) emphasized on bringing happiness to the earth through the assistance of available human labor in the country.

Overall, the event showcased meaningful efforts towards its success. This important event was hosted under the leadership of Deependra Chahar. Indian Nurserymen Association President Y.P. Singh greeted the attendees, and all guests were welcomed with plants.
