Spring bloom: NDMC and DDA host flower expo

New Delhi: The national capital is celebrating the beauty of nature with two dazzling flower exhibitions. The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has been hosting its annual flower festival at Central Park, Connaught Place, on March 1-2. The event is taking place near Gate No. 6, opposite B-Block parking. A big crowd has turned up to witness the vibrant colours and varieties of flowers in the festival.

Visitors have got an opportunity to enjoy the floral topiary, landscape gardens, tray gardens, large hanging baskets, and terrariums. Officials say around 10,000 potted plants are on display, including dahlias, petunias, pansies, salvias, and marigolds. Special selfie spots with vertical floral structures have added another feather in the show. Several stalls have also been set up, showcasing nursery plants, bonsai, gardening machinery, and hydroponic setups. Musical performances are also taking place to entertain the visitors.
