Upcoming Konkan fruit fest to focus on gardening plants and tools

Panaji: The 19th edition of the Konkan fruit festival is set to be held from May 2 to 4 at the Rosary School grounds, Navelim, from 10 am to 8 pm. It is expected that the three-day fest will be packed with promises because local talent and community will get a chance to come together. Therefore, it would be an exciting experience for the visitors to witness plenty of plants and tools in one place.

The event is likely to present something for everybody—nature lovers, food enthusiasts, or visitors who just step in for fun. However, the major attraction is the large nursery plant stall, where visitors can get an opportunity to witness different varieties of flowers and plants, fruit trees, and so on. Nature enthusiasts can purchase plants to decorate their homes or gardens. A team of experts will also be there to guide visitors on how to keep plants fresh even in summer.
