बागबानी करने वाले किसानों को फसल में दीमक लगने का डर सबसे अधिक रहता है। ऐसे में कुछ देसी तकनीक अपनाकर किसान इस समस्या का समाधान पा सकते हैं। खासकर बारिश के मौसम में फलदार पौधों में दीमक और कीड़ों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है, जिससे पौधे नष्ट हो सकते हैं।
बाग़बानी को आसान बनाने के लिए समय-समय पर तरह-तरह के कृषि यंत्र आते रहते हैं। इन्हीं यंत्रों में से एक है मल्टी क्रॉप सीड ड्रिल, जिसका इस्तेमाल कर किसान समय की बचत के साथ-साथ खेतों में खाद और बीज बोने का काम एक साथ कर सकते हैं।
