Mandi horticulture officers attend training in Raipur
Mandi: A team of horticulture officers from Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) landed in Raipur to get the latest knowledge of horticulture farming. The team included Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Anil, Dr. Shiksha, Dr. Shivali, Dr. Kavita Sharma, and Dr. Anupama. During the four-day trip, officials visited VNR Institute to get knowledge of advanced technologies being used in horticulture farming. The officers assess several departments of the institute to learn about facilities provided by institutes for the progress of horticulture.
The aim of the visit is to enhance the officer’s understanding of the latest techniques in horticulture. Speaking about the tour, Deputy Director Dr. Sanjay Gupta emphasized its importance, stating, “This educational visit is a valuable opportunity to improve the skills and efficiency of our officers. It will equip them with new technical knowledge and approaches to address challenges in horticulture.”

Dr. Gupta went on to say that this visit is helpful, and the knowledge gained by the officers will be implemented in the horticulture practices in Mandi district, aiming to provide advanced technologies to local farmers so that they can enhance their products.
