Aurangabad to host two-day annual flower show from February 8

Aurangabad: The parks and garden section of the Public Works Department is set to host the divisional 45th Annual Flower Exhibition on February 8 and 9. The organizers have been working relentlessly for the successful organization of the event. The final touch is in progress. Interested participants need to submit their entries for the flower exhibition between January 27 and February 7.

The upcoming flower show is going to take place in different sections, such as roses in flowerpots, seasonal flowers, all-year flowers, cactus, decorative plants in pots, landscape on the spot, innovative flower decoration, garden competition, and so on. Arrangements have been made to give lucrative prizes to the winners; this year a prize will be given for the most attractive rangoli. The participants have been urged to submit entries to the assistant director’s office, Garden Department, PWD Central Building, Adalat Road, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Besides some breathtaking floral exhibitions, visitors will get an opportunity to witness several rare species of flowers and plants. Flowers and plants have been sourced from different regions and have been gradually coming to the garden, where arrangements have been made to keep them safe. It would be a wonderful opportunity for the people, especially nature lovers, to visit the exhibition and enjoy their time with natural beauty.

Assistant Director J V Chaugule has appealed to people to come and visit the exhibition in large numbers and enjoy the time.
