Himachal’s recent snowfall brings relief to horticulture farmers
Shimla: Recent snowfall in Himachal Pradesh after a long dry spell has brought relief for the residents and the horticulture sector. The snowfall in several high-altitude regions, such as Shimla, Sirmaur, and Kinnaur, has been considered a boon, especially for apple orchards. The first snowfall is essential for horticultural areas due to the requirement of chilling.
